Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
for European Union (EU) Customers
In accordance with WEEE directives, any Monarch product, product component and accessory marked with a WEEE symbol, must be returned to a designated collection facility for disassembly and disposal. For information about where to send product for disposal, contact your nearest Avery Dennison location.
Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)
Monarch products and accessories that are required to comply with RoHS regulations are compliant.
Hazardous substances include: mercury, lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated byphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyls ethers (PBDE).
It is our understanding that our labels and tags are not generally required to be RoHS compliant unless they are part of an electronic product throughout its lifecycle.
Battery Disposal Information in the United States and Canada
Please do not throw batteries in the trash. Used batteries must be disposed of in accordance with local regulation. For information about how to recycle batteries in your area, visit the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC©) at www.rbrc.org. Batteries can also be returned postage-paid to:
