Yi is the General Manager, Asia, Identification Solutions Division for Avery Dennison. He was appointed to this position on June 1, 2021, after serving as Strategy and M&A Director, North APAC.

Yi will lead strategy creation and implementation, planning and forecasting, opportunity analysis, and driving profitable new business across all key segments. Additionally, this role will be the main link in collaborating the go-to-market strategy on opportunities that include Avery Denison’s Intelligent Labels and Label and Graphic Materials business units.

Prior to joining Avery Dennison Yi worked in strategic roles with McKinsey & Co, Bunge, and Porsche Consulting. He also co-founded and worked as general manager of TZG EV, a multi-brand, full-service electric vehicle dealer.Yi holds a bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA from Stanford University.
